Cegah Virus dari Flash Disk

Kebanyakan virus menginfeksi dengan perantara flash disk. Virus diaktifkan oleh sebuah autorun apabila kita membuka drive yang bersangkutan. Autorun tersebut bisa saja dibuat oleh virus yang menginfeksi. Jadi hati-hatilah bila akan membuka flash disk. Karena virus dapat membuat autorun sendiri atau memodifikasi autorun yang ada agar ketika flash disk ditancapkan, virus akan langsung menginfeksi. Di sini saya akan membahas mengenai program yang dapat membasmi autorun yang terinfeksi.

Kita menggunakan program yang bernama iKill untuk membasmi autorun yang terinfeksi. Program ini tidak seperti anti virus biasa. Program ini lebih mengkhususkan pembasmian virus pada flash disk yang bisa diaktifkan oleh autorun. Berikut spesifikasi minimum yang dibutuhkan untuk meng-install iKill.

  • Windows 98, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista
  • Processor 400 MHz+
  • RAM 96 MB+
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0+

Melihat ketentuan spesifikasi minimum di atas, pastinya program tersebut tak akan memberatkan komputer. Hanya saja repotnya harus meng-install Microsoft .NET Framework terlebih dahulu. ikillSetelah di-install maka program akan langsung segera mendeteksi segala autorun yang terinfeksi ketika flash disk ditancapkan. Berikut cara kerjanya.

  • Saat flash disk ditancapkan ke dalam komputer, iKill akan melakukan scan untuk memeriksa segala kemungkinan virus yang diaktifkan oleh autorun pada flash disk.
  • Jika ditemukan maka iKill akan langsung menghapusnya.
  • Apabila fitur AutoProtect diaktifkan maka iKill akan langsung menghapus file yang terdapat pada flash disk. Sebelumnya akan ditanya pada kita terlebih dahulu.ikill_ask
